Prabhat Kumar Singh is an experienced photographer, news media editor, photojournalist, and an author of three books, including “Kumbh: Diary of a Photographer.” He received the coveted Rotary International Fellowship to study journalistic practices and photojournalism in the US.
Prabhat’s pictures have found its deserved place at photography exhibits at The India Habitat Centre (New Delhi), The Bagore ki Haveli (Udaipur, Rajasthan), Nirala Art Gallery (Allahabad, UP), and Lalit Kala Academy (Lucknow, UP). His pictures of Kumbh Mela (Allahabad) and Tharus (Nepal) can be found at the museum in the Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad.
Prabhat has worked for prominent media companies as Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, and Amar Ujala. His pictures have been published in reputed newspapers and magazines, and have also featured on books and book jackets. Prabhat also has published articles on photography to his credit. He has conducted several workshops for photographers and photojournalists.
